Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Knowluck gave up a promising career as a video game operator when he was reborn after discovering the electronic music scene. Musically raised on a steady diet of Y Afterhours as well as the legendary GOMP and THC parties, Knowluck soon decided to uproot himself and moved to Calgary. Having held residencies in both cities, as well as playing music festivals including Astral Harvest and Motion Notion, Knowluck has shared stage with amazing artists such as Ill Gates, Mat the Alien, The Freestylers, Atomic Hooligan, Marten Horger, Far Too Loud and Much Too Quiet… throwing down Glitch Hop, Dubstep, and DnB on a a nice warm bed made of Electro and Breaks. Knowluck is also one half of the dubstep duo ‘2 Ninjas’ who saw great success with their dubstep remix of Sweet Dreams. Their Sweet Dreams remix received global acclaim receiving support from Subvert, Bassnectar, Wackutt, and Mark Instinct. Youtube provided great measurement of 2 Ninjas support with showing almost 100,000 views. After a winter of hibernation, KnowLuck ready with some fresh licks and new tricks for you this St Paddy’s Day.

Govinda is the alter-ego of Austin based producer/composer Shane Madden. He began studying violin and composition at the age of eight and went on to receive a BFA in Music at the University of Texas. It was in Madden’s pursuit of his gypsy roots that he opened his ears to music from around the world. From experiences learning violin with mysterious masters on his journeys across the globe and his passion for modern design and technology, the current sound of Govinda was born. The Govinda show is truly a multi-sensory experience that features live projections, resonating vocals and a sonical sound-scape. His live experience is full of vibrant energy that plays to its crowd. Govinda performs on Ableton Live accompanied by classical violin, and is currently touring in support of his album Universal On Switch which was released independently earlier this year. Govinda has played with Thievery Corporation, Tipper, Bassnectar, Shpongle, Cheb I Sabbah, STS9, DJ Spooky. Has been featured on over 25 compilations worldwide such as Buddha Bar 2, Nirvana Lounge 2, Asian Travels and Nomads; selling a combined 400,000 copies. Govindas music has been licensed on shows like “Roswell” WB, “Road Rules” MTV, and “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” Bravo as well as several independent films. Has played at numerous festivals throughout North America including Coachella, Lightning in a Bottle, Sea of Dreams, SXSW & Shambhala!
