Govinda is the alter-ego of Austin based producer/composer Shane Madden. He began studying violin and composition at the age of eight and went on to receive a BFA in Music at the University of Texas. Electronic Awakening is an ethnographic documentary film that investigates the spirituality of Electronic Music dance culture and its ties to ancient shamanic rituals.
